Greetings! 👋

I'm Mirza Naeem Beg, a Computer Science & Engineering undergraduate in my final year at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), Bangladesh. My CGPA stands at 3.1+ / 4.0.

I enjoy working on problems where language and vision meet. My research interests include NLP, Computer Vision, LLMs, Deep Learning, and AI for Healthcare. I work on these alongside my professional goals, with a focus on low-resource language applications like Bangla.

My career goal is straightforward: start as a Data Analyst, grow into a Data Engineer, and eventually become a Data Scientist or AI Engineer. I am currently building strong research and engineering capabilities through professional coursework while actively preparing for industry roles.

My undergraduate thesis, BanglaGuard, is a Multimodal Deep Learning Framework for Audio-Visual Detection of Inappropriate Content in Bangla Children's Cartoon Videos, supervised by Prof. Dr. Md. Shahriar Mahbub. The framework integrates EfficientNet-based CNNs for visual features, BiLSTM for temporal modeling, and OpenAI's Whisper for Bangla speech processing. Tested on 339 Bangla clips, it currently achieves up to 72.6% accuracy.
