Hi there! 👋

I'm Mirza Naeem Beg, a Computer Science & Engineering undergraduate in my 4^th year at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), Bangladesh. My CGPA is 3.1+ out of 4.00. I'm currently developing my thesis project, BanglaGuard, a multimodal deep-learning system for detecting unsafe Bangla content in YouTube Kids videos. BanglaGuard combines EfficientNet-based CNNs with BiLSTM temporal modeling on 3-second segments; evaluated on 339 Bangla clips, it achieves up to ~72.6% accuracy while offering efficient model variants suitable for resource-constrained deployment. I am currently working on the audio pipeline, focusing on Bangla speech feature extraction and temporal modeling to improve detection of unsafe spoken content.

I grew up in Mymensingh, where my love for technology began. Now I am in Dhaka for my studies. What got me interested in computers was seeing how they communicate using code, similar to how people use words to talk to each other.

This led me to study Computer Science and Engineering, and I have strong interests in the following areas:

Throughout my time at university, I've tried to put what I learn into practice. I believe that combining technical knowledge with creative thinking leads to the best innovations.
